Mental Health and Wellbeing for All (World Mental Health Day 2022)
There is growing recognition within the international community that mental health plays an important role in achieving global development goals. However, despite progress in some countries, people with mental health conditions often still experience violations, discrimination, and stigma, and these continue to be a barrier to social inclusion and access to the right care.
This year, we aim to raise the awareness that mental health is a lot more than the absence of illness, as it is an intrinsic part of our individual and collective health and wellbeing. The Mental Health and Wellbeing for All seminar is prerecorded and will be available on this website for quite some time, so you can choose a time and day to view that works best for you. This session will include
- Knowing how to act to contribute and raise awareness
- Understanding our role and responsibility to make a difference
- Exploring barriers to mental health
- Learning how to better support our colleagues, families, and friends
- Learning about psychological safety and creating a psychologically safe space for all
