Better Relations between Men and Women (International Men's Day)

The world is experiencing a silent men's health crisis. Globally, three out of four suicides are men, men die six years younger than women, and 95 percent of people who die at work are men. Supporting International Men's Day provides an opportunity for everyone to take part in the global conversation about men's emotional wellbeing and advocate against mental health stigma.

This International Men's Day seminar "Better Relations between Men and Women" reflects this year's theme, which aims to improve gender relations and promote gender equality for both men and women.

This webinar will provide the insight and knowledge to do the following:

  • Learn about the rigid gender stereotypes and clichés portrayed by media.
  • Understand the impact of the stigma around masculinity and how to remove this stigma to bridge the gap between men and women.
  • Discover ways to make a difference for men and boys within your community.
  • Explore practical ways to optimize levels of mental health for men and boys.
  • Consider ways to utilize the resources and support available to signpost others.
  • Develop a plan for positive change.
