"Celebrating Mateship" #MakeTime4Mates (International Men's Day 2022)

Research shows that close friendships and social connections can promote good health, and this includes male friendships. When it comes to friendships and social connections, most men have a hard time really understanding the actual meaning of having friends.

The theme of International Men's Day this year is "Celebrating Mateship," which has a particular association with close male friendships. This theme is meant to highlight the role mateship plays in helping men live longer, better, healthier lives.

This year, we want to inspire more men to build better social connections by making time for old friends, putting forth the effort to make new friends, and reaching out to male friends who are experiencing challenges in their lives.
