Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow (International Women's Day 2022)
Every year, International Women's Day is held to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year's theme is "Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow," recognizing the contribution of women around the world who are leading initiatives on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and response to build a more sustainable future for all.
To commemorate this day, we developed the "Achieving Gender Equality and a Sustainable Future" online seminar designed to motivate and unite participants to think, act, and be gender inclusive.
This online seminar will provide the insight and knowledge to
- Understand women's roles in environmental actions and leadership to ensure a sustainable future
- Encourage women to participate in protecting their communities and environments
- Increase awareness of taking action to protect our environment, participating in conservation and recovery decisions, and build communities to sustain our future
- Promote positive changes through movements that could make long-term changes for all
